Small aperture low voltage, thermally protected, specification grade recessed housing.
This is a Title 24 IC and "air tight" rated fixture and has a gasket to prevent air flow from heated or air conditioned spaces. Meets all national air flow requirements. Only use 4" trims as shown on this web site.

Thermally protected, IC rated specification grade remodel compact fluorescent recessed housing. For new installations where housing will be in direct contact with insulation. Accommodates (1) 4-pin Compact fluorescent lamp. For fast and easy installation in existing plaster or mechanical ceilings from 1/2" to 1-3/ thick. Four remodel clips are easily retractable for fixture removal if necessary. Junction box is provided with four 1/2" KOs, one 3/4" KO and four Romex knockouts with strain relief.

This HB5PLIC-26-E-AT-AD is our professional recessed lighting fixture. Unlike other recessed fixtures it features 4 knockouts specifically designed for use with Romex wiring. Each knockout has a wire strain relief to insure that the wire does not back out once installed. In this application the 1/2" standard screw in cable clamps are not required. This "quick installation" feature is favored by professional installers. Housing can be used on either long or short axis of housing and can be shortened for 12" joists.They are designed to be hammered directly without using nails or screws and could be fit onto T-bar spline for easy installation and quick alignment.
