Outstanding polished all solid copper finished Malibu Lights fixture. This fixture has a outstanding copper finish with a clear coat to keep it looking great. Looks absolutely outstanding in any garden.. It utilizes the popular and very inexpensive Halogen MR-16 12volt lamp. Great output, focused and hard edge spot light. These bulbs are also know for their long life.
This is a “flood” fixture perfect for very directional highlighting of landscape elements. Fixture projects a good edged round, but directed beam of halogen light. This fixture utilized the pre-set and focused MR-16 halogen bulb both in an included 35watt FMW flood, and an optional ESX 20watt MR-16 spot of about 12degrees. The spot version of this bulb would be good where you need to light something at a distance of 10’ or more away.
Fixture produces about a 3’ circle of light at a distance of 4’ from the subject with the BAB flood bulb. At this distance we measured 38 foot candles. Use it for lighting applications where a small fixture with med output is required.. Fixture has as rubber gasket to keep out water as well as a “weep hole” in case moisture does get in. Lamp replacement is easy and no tools are required. Just twist the front of the fixture counter clockwise to remove the front and re-lamp.
Don’t touch the bulb with your fingers, use a tissue as it will last longer. Fixture comes with a Fast-Lock II® connector attached to the 6” lead from the factory. This is a great little fixture and will give you years of service. An excellent bargain for an all metal fixture. Replacement lamps can be purchased from us or any large home improvement store.
