For a soft wide angle lighting effect, and a bulb that will last you for years and years, consider using the LED MR-16 Bulb. LED MR-16 bulbs are available in a number of wattages, beam spreads and color temperatures. It is the most versatile bulb/fixture combination available today.

Be sure to pair with the appropriate dimmer if you choose to use this fixture with a dimmer. A standard low voltage dimmer (Not LED dimmer) will operate this fixture properly. Most modern LED MR16 lamps will operate with this fixture and a low voltage dimmer.

NOTE: This item is designed to work in place of an existing socket plate adapter in your housing. If your housing does not have the socket adapter plate, this is not recommended.

This is the only low voltage trim retrofit that I could find that provides adjustment greater than 30 degrees. The electronic transformer is perfect as it is noiseless and creates no heat.
