    • HOUSING - Die-formed all aluminum construction for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection. Adjusts vertically in plaster frame to accommodate up to 1" ceiling.
    • SOCKET - Medium base screw shell porcelain socket snaps into trim to allow usage of different lamp types, as well as proper and consistent lamp positioning.
    • THERMAL PROTECTION - Standard thermal protection device guards against improper installation, over-lamping and misuse of insulation material.
    • JUNCTION BOX - is UL and C-UL listed for through-branch circuit wiring, 4 in 4 out, and has 5 - 1/2" KO's, and 4 - Romex knockouts with strain clamps.
    • BAR HANGERS - Pre-installed bar hangers allow housing to be positioned and locked at any point within a 16" to 24" joist span. They can be used on either long or short axis of housing and can be shortened for 16" joists.They are designed to be hammered directly without using nails or screws and could be fit onto T-bar spline for easy installation and quick alignment.

These cans don't have bulky square housing they just look like a plain can with an oblong opening. They will work for steep ceiling pitches but their more suitable for slight ceiling pitches, they have another type thats angled more for those extreme type ceiling. But those won't work on anything less than 8 and 12 pitch it will look weird, trust me I know. And if you've never installed one take note they can only go one way or it'll angle wrong, it can happen. I've never done it though.
