Small aperture low voltage, thermally protected, new construction housing. Three remodel clips which can be accessed from below the ceiling are easily retractable for fixture removal if necessary. Use up to a 50 watt MR16 12 volt lamp. Furnished with pre-installed adjustable bar hangers. Junction box is provided with three 1/2" Knock Outs.

    • A. HOUSING - High-tempered twenty-two (22) gauge deep drawn single piece aluminum housing. Accommodates lamps up to 50watt depending on trim used.
    • B. TRANSFORMER - Class II electronic transformer placed in heat dissipating cover that is attached to junction box.
    • C. BAR HANGERS & FRAME- Pre-installed bar hangers on plaster frame allow housing to be positioned and locked at any point within a 24" joist span. They are designed to be hammered directly without using nails or screws and could be fit onto T-bar spline for easy installation and quick alignment.
    • D. JUNCTION BOX - Is ETL listed for through-branch circuit wiring and has 3 - 1/2" KO's.

So I am really impressed with USA Light AND these fixtures.

If you need a great 2" recessed can that runs HALOGEN lights, then I don't know how you can beat these. I got a bunch of CSL 2" LED recessed in the walk areas of the kitchen, but for the island, going with the pop of the halogen lights was really the way to go. You just get more flexibility and lighting control with these fixtures.

I ordered the new install cans and saw that the item was really well made, or at least what I would expect for the price. They do come with the quick push connectors which my electrician swears are trouble, so he just cut them off and used wire nuts.

In any case, if we have problems they can be pulled out of the rail fixture and worked on without knocking out drywall.

All in all, perfect fixture and EXCELLENT JOB USALIGHT.COM
