Wiring my new house and chose these for the kitchen.  They mount easily.  My trusses are only 11.5" apart and the braces have a snap off to allow you to shorten them and still preserve the easy slide feature.  If you opt for the 1/2" knock out instead of the captive NM openings, you'll need to supply your own cable clamps (plastic snap in works great).  Can't comment yet on the light as I am months away from adding the trims.

Spent more than I thought because I had to order everything separate and thought it was all in one. Plus set me back on a job a week. Customer service didn’t offer any support when I called. Very disappointed
