This motion sensor can differentiate artificial light brightness and natural light after installation
Default Setting: Brightness: 100%, Hold Time: 1 Min, Stand-by Dimming Level: 20%, Stand-by Time: 1 Min, Sensitivity: 100%, Daylight: Disable
If your fixture has a wattage adjustment function and you are installing a motion sensor (DMS1), follow these steps:
a. Determine the largest integrated wattage of your fixture (e.g. if fixture's adjustment range is 100W/120W/150W, largest wattage is 150W).
b. Set the sensor's brightness level to a desirable percentage based on the fixture's largest integrated wattage. For example, if the largest wattage is 150W and you set the sensor's brightness level to 70%, the sensor's brightness setting will be equal to 70% x 150W =105W.
c. The fixture's final brightness will be based on the lower wattage between the fixture's adjusted wattage and the sensor's brightness level setting. So, if you set the fixture to 120W and the sensor to 70% (105W), the fixture's final wattage will be 105W. If you set the fixture to 100W, and the sensor to 70% (105W), the fixture's final wattage will be 100W.
