March 13, 2026 Reviewer: Joseph Sharp from Lebanon, NJ United States   So glad to have found this product.  Removed original when installing led retrofit.  My new project (minifans) required a stable socket.  These fit perfectly and solved the problem in five minutes.  My only suggestion would be to reduce the length of the shoulder on the wing nut screw as it can interfere with tightening and (more difficult) include a washer fixed to the screw that would prevent losing the screw inside the can.  This would speed the process of tightening the socket plate and prevent lost hardware.  Again an excellent product for which I'm grateful for someone's jnsight. Replacement socket plates February 25, 2026 Reviewer: Vincent S. from Queens Village, NY United States   I ordered six of these plates to install in my recessed light cans, after upgrading my 6 inch lights.  After removing the original can plate I was left with a dangling socket.  These fit perfectly.  The only minor draw back I had in installing them was having a little problem getting the wing nut and screw in.  I ended up attaching the plates utilizing a screw already in the can.  It fit perfectly. The product was listed a dollar cheaper the night before I ordered it. The shipping price made up for any lower price. Had to order, as no big box store carried the product. Fast service/fantastic prices June 23, 2025 Reviewer: Lisa from Lancaster, OH United States   We needed these plates because we were updating our recessed lights. Found these while doing a search  and ordered right away. You can not beat the price, even with shipping.  We bought 4 and even with shipping it was less than 1 at the big box stores.   Will USA Light for any future projects! Exactly what I needed April 15, 2022 Reviewer: Jeremy from Palm Desert, CA United States   I needed these socket plates to convert 40 recessed lights to LED kits. They worked great and 25% of the cost of the only other alternative I could find. These were marked as out of stock, after a very quick email exchange with support I was told it was ok to order but would ship in a couple of days.
