ELCO E6LC08D2 is a 6" Cedar System New Construction Housing Non-IC frame for Non-IC conditions. The housing adjusts in the frame to accommodate up to 1 1/2" ceiling thickness and designed for ceiling plenums where 2x8 joists or taller are used.
Pre installed hanger bars with True Nail allow for easy installation in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams. This Non-IC airtight housing is suitable for T-grid and drop ceiling applications and perfect for residential and light commercial use.

Construction/Installation

▪ Designed for ceiling plenums where 2x8 joists or taller are used.
Junction Box
▪ Positioned to accommodate straight conduit runs.
▪ Seven (7) 1/2" trade size conduit knockouts, Two (2) 3/4" knockouts, One (1) 3/8" knockout.

Hanger Bars / New Construction
▪ Pre-installed hanger bars with True Nail facilitate easy installation in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams. Suitable for T-grid and drop ceiling applications.
▪ Integral T-bar slots for easy installation in T-bars. Spans up to 24" and can be repositioned 90°. Score lines allow for tool-free hanger bar size reduction. Integral leveling flange allows for single-person installation while aligning the housing with joists.
Emergency Battery Backup
▪ Optional: Up To 90 Minutes of Emergency Power Battery Backup with test indicator switch (double wall housings requires access from above): Sold Separately!
Electrical/Dimming
▪ Driver is rated for 120V and 277V input(120/277V). 3 in 1 dimming: Triac, ELV, and 0-10V dimming in one driver. 0-10V dimming down to 5% with compatible dimmer. Can be specified with Lutron drivers for 0.1% and 1% dimming. Flicker free dimming.
