The ELCO EL49FICA 4" LED Fire Rated New Construction IC Airtight Housing combines adjustable design with durable construction. This 4" Double Wall IC Airtight housing offers up to 2 hours of fire rated performance and is compatible with 4" LED inserts with a Quick Connect terminal connector for easy installation. Designed for ceiling plenums where 2 x 8 joists or taller are used this housing is versatile and can be used in T-grid and drop ceilings as well. Additionally, this fire rated housing has an integrated Non-combustible insulation that acts as a sound barrier minimizing sound transfer between floors and is ideal for residential and commercial applications.
