I like the way this fixture takes the Soraa MR16 GU10 bulbs, which mount relatively easily but firmly. These bulbs are so tight in the mini round fixture (Elite 225) that the retention clip can't be fully engaged in its slots. The Soraa bulb can't be used at all in the US-TLV2442 gimbal ring head because the spring in that fixture does not accommodate the Soraa cooling fins. Unfortunately, however, the fixture that was shipped in response to my order for the US-TLV2442 fixture was a similar Elite fixture (ET226), on which the contacts are too long to fit properly in my track (which uses HALO fixtures), so the only way I can use it is to file down the contacts, rounding the ends to allow it to be fastened properly into the track. Except for this problem, I would rate it 5 stars.
