Small aperture thermally protected, specification grade recessed housing. For new construction non-insulated ceilings or where insulation can be kept 3" from housing. Accommodates up to 50W PAR20, R20, and A19 lamps. Furnished with preinstalled adjustable bar hangers. Junction box is provided with four ½" KOs, one ¾" KO and four Romex knockouts with strain relief. Double headed, heavy gauge nail for easy removal and strength.
SPECIFICATIONS
A. HOUSING - High temperature painted 22 gauge deep drawn single piece housing. Adjusts vertically in plaster frame to accommodate ½" to 1-3/8" ceiling. Accommodate lamps up to 50W depending on trim used.
B. SOCKET - Medium base screw shell porcelain socket preinstalled on adjustable mounting bracket is designed to allow usage of different lamp types, as well as proper and consistent lamp positioning.
C. BAR HANGERS - Preinstalled bar hangers allow housing to be positioned and locked at any point within a 24" joist span and can be shortened for 12" joists. They contain a double-headed real nail for secure attachment into the joist. Bar hanger nails are installed on a 20° downward angle for better contact, and the 90° pivoting mounting plate makes installation fast and accurate. Bar hangers can fit onto T-Bar spline with additional slots and holes for special mounting methods if necessary.
D. JUNCTION BOX - UL and ETL listed for through-branch circuit wiring and has four ½" KOs, one ¾" KO and four Romex knockouts with true pry-out slots and strain clamps.
E. THERMAL PROTECTION - Standard thermal protection device guards against improper installation, overlamping and misuse of insulation material.

The recessed light was easy to install, even for someone with limited electrical experience like me. It works perfectly on our existing dimmer switch without any buzzing or compatibility issues. I look forward to seeing how long it lasts but based on quality I expect many years.

Remodeling my I needed 108 4" high hats. I don't understand why the 4" ones are triple the price of the 6" ones at home depot. So my search started since I did not want to pay almost $2000 just for the cans. I'm putting LED kits in these and that alone is going to break the bank. I found these and placed an order for an amount to check the quality. if they were crappy I was going to use them in the closest. Once I got these holy crap did I hit the jackpot. They are UL listed (yes the sticker is the hologram one) connectors are the push in ones so no wire nuts and connections are quick. The rails are easily breakable and adjustable for smaller areas. Can height is adjustable and bulb socket. Air tight and really made well. half the price of the Halo and cheaper than the crap ones at Home depot. So far I installed 60 and just purchased my last 48. before I made my first purchase I called customer service and they answered my question about delivery.

I'm installing 25 of these, for an emergency lighting system in my home. I'm using low wattage LED's with a battery backup system. These 4" cans are perfect for my purpose. They are well built, and look good. Shipping & tax free. Best price I could find.

Better than what is offered at the big box stores and at a lower cost delivered...Better quality too!
These 4" recessed light fixtures are adequate and, compared to the box stores, very well priced. Minor cons include set screws that, often as not, can't tighten (to prevent movement of light during sheet-rocking). I used a bit of electrical tape on rails to lock assembly in desire location. Shiiping takes a toll on rails, but they are easily bent back into position.
Your product impressed the electrician. Considered it just as good as local purchase but at much less cost. Got the product in time stated. Great packaging. Thanks for saving us $500 in cans and trim.

The recessed lights we had originally ordered were on a backorder and it appeared they would be for some time. So USAlight provided us with an even better housing and had them shipped out the next day. There was no extra charge, and they followed up with the phone call they promised also. We are very pleased with the lights, and the service we received.
Tried the live chat to check inventory before ordering. Chris assured me there were plenty in stock. Ordered 20 and they arrived quickly. These are the same quality as the ones selling for twice as much locally. easy to install brackets with nails, comes with push in wire connectors. Good value.
