As a former electrician and current electrical engineer, these cans are one of the best I've seen. They are made of high quality and easy installation. Built like the best cans that you can find at a big box store, or electric supply store.

I purchased 6 of the 5 inch recessed lights along with the trim. The item arrived fast and well packaged. Top quality products for a great price! I well be purchasing some 6 inch lights when it's time to do my living room and other rooms.
The product is good quality, it was difficult to find 5" housing because in big box stores they sell 5" but it's actually size is 5 1/2". Price is cheaper too even with shipping. Delivery to NY takes 5 days! Everything is good!

excellent product and value
Standard generic ic cans. Clip-in type a socket. Not mounted to a plate- just loose in the can. Fine for my purposes. Plenty of room for led conversion lens. Go in smooth. No complaints.
We use these quite bit, on occasion we are short on a job and resort to buying Halos which go for over $12 each, we can't tell the difference, and the price is almost half of the Halos.
The baffles are also terrific from here, top notch.....
Better and cheaper than big box

Product is fine but the order was delayed 10 days and then sent regular shipping missing install schedule.
No reason for delay was provided, no store credit or even expedited shipping.
Mixed feelings on re-orders from here.

These went in really slick! No real issues here, except had to be careful of some sharp/ rough edges during installation.
Love these cans! Very easy to work with, nothing cheap about them except the price. These combined with the trim rings cut my cost in HALF!
I decided the most cost effective way yo get LED cans was to get these cans, the 5" step baffle and LED par 30's from COSTCO at $19 for 2. I thought about the all in one LED cans but what happens if one goes out in 3 years? Never be able to match. Plus twice as much.

Product arrived quickly and in good condition. The housing is slightly larger than the advertised 5". Not a huge issue, but FYI that you'll need to modify your mounting hole if you're trying to replace an existing light that is a true 5" diameter. Also, the light socket is designed to snap into the trim ring, so be sure to purchase trim rings at the same time or you'll be dead in water while waiting for additional parts.
Half the price of Home Depot. Better quality and fit. Selection is outstanding!
