<li><b>BAR HANGERS -</b> Pre-installed bar hangers allow housing to be positioned and locked at any point within a 16" to 24" joist span. They can be used on either long or short axis of housing and can be shortened for 16" joists.They are designed to be hammered directly without using nails or screws and could be fit onto T-bar spline for easy installation and quick alignment.</li>

Quick install because you can clip out the narrow piece of metal between the cover and the nm slot letting you go ahead and do all your stripping, skinning and quick connecting the can without the confine of being all up in the box,when done with makeup just lay wires in the slot and shut the cover to hold it in, may not be intended this way but it works so
I've used USA light before and chose them again over the big box stores for quality reasons

The tracks on these are nice and don't fall apart like some other brands. They have push in wire nuts and come with attached nails. Nails were a little thin but they drove home eventually. Price was great. Fit perfect in basment and the beams are only old 2x8's. Wish I bought more.
I bought the remodel version of there here 4 years ago and with a new project needed lights again. I was very pleased for a second time.
